During the political campaign for the mid-term election, pro-abortion Democrats claimed there was a “war on women” by the Republicans because most of the candidates opposed abortion. You’ll really think this is hypocrisy when you hear this. Both parties caucus to elect their party leaders. In the House of Representatives, Democrat Representative Tammy Duckworth asked if she could vote by proxy. Tammy is a wounded warrior who lost both legs when the helicopter she was flying was shot out of the sky. She’s in the final weeks of her pregnancy and her doctor won’t allow her to travel. Thus the request. The Democratic leadership said no. So who’s really waging the war on women? It’s also ironic coming from the party that’s accused the Republicans of disenfranchising voters.
