Dave and Corrine Molter were married over sixty years. They had a very special love and the proof came out in the end. Corrine was in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and her loving husband took care of her night and day. The couple was found dead together in their home. Dave had given his stricken wife his last breath—literally. Corrine stopped breathing, so Dave began CPR. At that moment he too was stricken and died. Their caregiver, Brandy Williams, tearfully told how Dave and Corrine were considered her best friends. She said, “Just wonderful people. I’ve never met anybody like that in my life. . . it’s true love like no other. It’s the kind you see in movies.” This type of devotion used to be common. Sadly, today it’s more the exception.
