Abortion has cheapened the value of human life. After it was legalized, we said infanticide—killing a newborn—would follow abortion as surely as night follows day. The baby had suffocated. Ana killed the baby because he looked like her former boyfriend and she feared it would be off-putting to the new boyfriend. Nadine used a knife on the throat of her newborn baby boy and then went to a club dancing. She killed her son because she was afraid he’d interfere with her sex life. Abortion has cheapened life to appalling lows. We must end it and pray for those involved.
