Emily Letts got her fifteen-minutes of fame by allegedly filming her own abortion. Journalist Cassy Fiano analyzed the timeline of all this and has raised some valid questions. Within twenty-four hours of finding out she was pregnant; Letts was able to arrange an abortion and video production of the procedure. Plus, it just so happened a pro-abortion organization was holding a video contest to counter the stigma of abortion. And Letts won, receiving a cash prize. Regardless of whether or not the pregnancy was real or fake, she trivialized abortion and actually increased its stigma. Letts is unintentionally mobilizing young women who’re appalled by her stunt and have been calling our office to get involved. I’ve seen too many young women like Letts and they desperately need our prayers.
