New York Times Opposed to Abortion

Bradley Mattes   |   February 26, 2014

Can you guess which well-known newspaper ran editorials on abortion and called it, “The Evil of the Age”? I’ll bet the super liberal New York Times wouldn’t be on your list, yet that’s the one. Granted, it was done in eighteen seventy-one when a notorious abortionist got so rich, she built a mansion on Fifth Avenue. People on the streets would shout, “Your house is built on babies’ skulls!” What has changed about the gruesome reality of abortion? It’s still killing preborn children with appalling brutality. What was once called “wholesale murder” by the Times is now considered a sacred right. Why, now, would the New York Times yawn at revelations of abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s abortion mill, called by the FBI a “house of horrors”? The answer is two words—political agenda.
