I recently braved bitterly cold temperatures to join over one-hundred-thousand pro-life friends at the annual March for Life in Washington, DC. It seemed more than ever, people were asking why the mainstream media all but ignore this colossal event. Let me tell you why. Each year the crowd marches during the worst wintertime weather DC has to offer. An easy eighty percent are young, vibrant, passionate, vocal, upbeat and determined. Normally, it’d be a reporter’s visual dream—that is, unless the multitude is pro-life. The day of the march, a chill went up the spines of media elites everywhere, and it wasn’t because of the cold. The March was a visual declaration the pro-life movement is getting younger, stronger and more effective. They know the days of abortion-on-demand are numbered.
