In today’s society, most messages in the media reflect that children are anything but a blessing. Sometimes they’re subtle, but usually they’re the same. Fewer children are good for parents, siblings and the environment. So when I saw a recent TV ad from the Coca Cola Company, I was amazed. It starts out with a young couple joyously celebrating the news they’re expecting their first baby. Following scenes depict daily life showing the challenges and sacrifices of parenthood and I thought, oh great, more of the same. Then, amongst the chaos of life with a young child, the scene depicts the woman showing her husband another positive pregnancy test. The father’s reaction was priceless, but I don’t want to spoil it for you. Watch the video.
