The US Supreme Court came down with a great ruling! By a vote of five to four, it said the Texas pro-life legislation can continue in force until it winds its way through the legal system, which will take years. In effect, many Texas abortion mills will probably be forced to close. In question was whether the state could require abortionists to have admitting privileges at a hospital within thirty miles. It prevents them from abandoning their patients when they botch an abortion. This is a huge victory, not only for Texas but for everyone. And it’s a pretty good indication of where the Court will ultimately be on its constitutionality. More states will now have the confidence to pass similar legislation. If I were part of the abortion industry, I’d be plenty worried.
