Origin of Sex Selection Abortion

Bradley Mattes   |   October 02, 2013

Sex-selection is one of the most repulsive reasons for abortion. It’s usually practiced when parents find out they’re expecting a girl, but want a boy, so they abort her. Sex-selection abortion is running rampant in India and China. So far, more girl babies have been aborted in Asia than the entire female population of the United States. Professor Matthew Connelly of Columbia University testified in Congress that sex-selection abortion began in the sixties, and guess who was behind it? It was none other than Planned Parenthood’s head of research, Steven Polgar, who first urged biologists to work on a way to identify the sex of an unborn baby. The rest is disgraceful and tragic history. It’s time we stop tax funding of Planned Parenthood.
