State of Maine is Shrinking

Bradley Mattes   |   August 09, 2013

The population of the state of Maine is shrinking. Last year, according to a report from the Governor’s Office of Policy and Management, more people from the state died than were born. Their birthrate has gradually fallen over the last couple of decades, and it has the highest percentage of Baby Boomers in the nation. As state budgets tighten, Maine will realize babies are their best renewable resource. Abortion’s played a key role in the shrinking populations of many countries who’re in a panic and working on ways to increase the number of babies being born. I suspect other states, in addition to Maine, will someday be looking for ways to do the same. The Bible clearly says babies are a blessing. Societies that abort their children are sure to reap what they’ve sown.
