Pat Robertson Wrong Again

Bradley Mattes   |   August 13, 2013

I’ve been an outspoken critic of Pat Robertson when he disparaged international adoption; and when he said it’s okay for a husband to abandon his wife with Alzheimer’s, so long as she’s in a nursing home. Now this TV evangelist says contraception’s an important part of humanity because it prevents the birth of too many Appalachian “ragamuffins.” Mr. Roberson and Planned Parenthood have something in common. Neither wants poor people populating America, but we call that eugenics. Second, Mr. Roberson said there’s no sin associated with sex-change operations. But all the cosmetic surgery in the world won’t change the gender DNA God gave you at conception. A sex-change operation is nothing more than elaborate homosexuality. I think it’s time for Pat Roberson to retire.
