No Greater Love

John fifteen verse thirteen says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” This was the case for Sarah Rivera, a fifteen-year-old student. She saw shots being fired in front of her apartment in the Bronx. People scattered but a stroller with a toddler inside was left in the line of fire. Sarah bravely ran into the middle of the gunfight to save the young child, and in the process was hit in the leg with a bullet. She pushed the stroller to safety before falling to the ground. In this day and age when we hear of so many teenagers aborting their babies, it’s encouraging to know there are kids like Sarah Rivera who would put her own life on the line to save others. May we go the extra mile to protect babies from abortion.
