Just Plain Ignorance

Legislation is being introduced in Congress that stops abortion after twenty weeks in the womb because the baby feels the pain of the abortion. One of those testifying was Dr. Maureen Condic, Associate Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of Utah. She’s a scientist who’s been widely published in peer-reviewed journals. She knows her stuff. Dr. Condic testified there’s “universal agreement” babies feel pain in the first trimester. But she says it’s documented a baby feels pain at eight weeks, and to expose a baby to pain for any reason is “barbaric.” But Planned Parenthood, NARAL and other pro-abortion activists are living in the Dark Ages. They deny this humanity of the unborn and accepted science by opposing this humane bill. Many would call this just plain ignorance.
