If I believed in cloning, I’d make more of OB Doctor Andrew Jaja at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before retiring, Dr. Jaja’s mentor passed to him the responsibility of carrying on a very special tradition. After the birth of every baby, Dr. Jaja and his staff sing “Happy Birthday” to the newborn. Everyone isn’t necessarily singing on key, but it’s a heartfelt welcome just the same. Clearly he cherishes each life he brings into the breathing world. Just imagine if every doctor treated each birth as a blessing, regardless of circumstances. Watch this brief video on Dr. Jaja. He’s proof little things make a big difference.
