Abortion and Suicide

Jiah Khan was one of several well-known actors in India who star in what’s called Bollywood films. But her fame and fortune couldn’t make up for the unborn baby she aborted. Jiah committed suicide and left a six-page note of why she did it. Various research studies have shown women are more likely to commit suicide if they have an abortion versus give birth. The British Journal of Psychiatry reported women were seventy-percent more likely to kill themselves. The British Medical Journal found they were nearly six-times more likely. Keep in mind, Europe isn’t known for being pro-life. In the US, the National Institutes of Health reported the suicide rate for teen girls and young women has tripled over the past two-and-a-half decades. It’s time we realize abortion hurts women.
