If you listen to my daily commentaries, you know I’m not a fan of the United Nations. Here’s another reason why. The UN Committee against Torture has issued a report calling the lack of access to abortion a form of torture. This committee has frequently railed against nations that dare to protect their precious unborn babies and moms. They say such laws violate human rights and are equal to genital mutilation, forced sterilizations and state-sanctioned beatings. They’re clearly putting politics ahead of science, because abortion is a brutal and inhumane violence that kills innocent pre-born children. And it often leaves the mothers with physical and psychological devastation. Worldwide we’ve seen the UN engage in this tortuous war on women and their babies, and I’ll continue to speak out against it.
