Life in Ethiopia

I’ve just returned from a two-week trip to Ethiopia. It’s hard to grasp the level of poverty there until you actually see it. Young girls who get pregnant are usually abandoned by their families. If they reject abortion, they face a lifetime of challenges. I took a four-person TV crew along to film four episodes of our weekly pro-life television program, Facing Life Head-On. I had the honor of speaking to several young women who shared their tragic stories of being raped or getting pregnant by surviving as prostitutes.
