Taps Outside Planned Parenthood

Bradley Mattes   |   November 29, 2012

Veterans Day is more noticed now than in past decades. One reason it’s special to me is my son served in Iraq. Many communities hold Veterans Day parades. During a recent parade, bands were playing stirring, patriotic songs like “You’re a Grand old Flag” and “America the Beautiful.” On the parade route was a Planned Parenthood abortion mill, and some youth were praying outside of it. Wouldn’t you know, at the moment a high school band came by the abortion mill, it stopped and played “Silver Taps,” the song most known for marking the death of soldiers. What a symbolic moment! I wonder what the staff inside Planned Parenthood was thinking. I also wonder if some women who were there for abortions were listening. Maybe God used this school band to save babies’ lives.
