South Korean Doctors Stand Up for Life

Bradley Mattes   |   September 25, 2012

For decades, South Korea has had a law protecting its unborn babies on the books. But many years ago the government encouraged doctors to abort babies to control the population to help economic growth. But things dramatically changed when former abortionists, who are now pro-life, began to speak out. The vocal doctors gave credibility to the idea of being pro-life and now South Korea’s highest court has upheld the original law ending most abortions. One doctor said, “I bought into the government’s argument it was okay to do this.” He’s taken a significant pay cut and has received death threats, but he’s sticking to his beliefs. It just goes to show what can be done when people stand up and speak out against evil. In this case, the evil of abortion is coming to an end.
