Dr. Byron Calhoun is a professor and vice-chair in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Virginia University. He’s upset with good reason because 127 studies over the last five decades show abortion increases the risk of premature birth. It’s estimated one in 10 babies are born prematurely, and over a million of them die each year. The emotional and financial costs are staggering. Yet the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the World Health Organization, say the cause of preterm birth is still largely unknown. While these politically correct organizations put ideology over science, millions of babies are dying, leaving their families devastated. What will it take for them to break this cycle of pro-death mentality?
