The picture was horrible to see. A young Chinese woman was lying on a hospital bed. Next to her was the seven-month unborn baby who’d been viciously aborted against the mother’s wishes. This moving image circled the globe and further exposed China’s brutal forced-abortion, one-child policy. But the baby didn’t die in vain. The European Parliament has since adopted a strong resolution condemning China’s forced abortions and sterilizations. Since the EU still provides funding for family planning efforts in China, they’ve urged the Commission to investigate and ensure these funds don’t support forced abortion. But the only way to do that is pull all funding. Further, the Chinese government paid the couple $11,000 to settle a lawsuit. Please pray all Chinese women are protected.
