Father’s Day is coming up, and it’s a very special time for me personally. Not because of any gifts or events, but because it celebrates the most important job I’ve ever had—being a dad. Never will we have the honor of working so hard and being so fulfilled, all at the same time. The job comes with tears and sorrow, but also with many thrills and joys. Some dads will struggle with sadness on Father’s Day because they’ve lost a child to illness, accident or even abortion. But know this. Your heavenly Father deeply loves and cares for you. Through the blood of Jesus, you’re able to move on and maybe even help other men facing similar circumstances. Nothing can change the fact you’re a dad, so on Father’s Day, celebrate God’s grace to you.
