Barack Obama’s declared war on religious freedom when he mandated insurance coverage for abortifacient drugs like Plan B and ellaOne. After a huge outcry, the President came out with a so-called accommodation that’s nothing more than an accounting trick. His reasoning is, if it saves the government money, then it doesn’t cost anything. But Blue Cross insurance estimated the cost at nearly $3 billion. And these added expenses will most likely be passed to religious institutions or individuals to pay. This absolutely paves the way for funding abortion-on-demand and physician-assisted euthanasia in Obamacare. One pro-life leader said the President isn’t looking for common ground on religious concerns, but burial ground for the First Amendment. I agree.
