LIFE Comes to the Big Screen

I’d like you to meet Hannah, a young college student who makes a startling discovery about her life. Numerous tests conducted to diagnose a medical condition her freshman year confront Hannah with an unexpected reality. It would change her world forever.

Hannah’s medical condition leads to the revelation that she’s actually adopted. What her dad told her next was nearly impossible to comprehend. She survived a failed abortion attempt. With the help of close and supportive friends, Hannah courageously sets out during her spring break to look for answers to her past and to hopefully discover her birth-mother.

Hannah’s story is the subject of a new heartwarming film that’s in theatres today, called October Baby. View the trailer by clicking here.

Although Hannah’s story is fictional, her situation certainly isn’t.

Statistics are hard to come by, but each year it’s estimated that thousands of babies survive abortion attempts. You may even know some of these survivors of abortion yourself. Believe it or not, they may be closer to you than you think. Here’s just one example, click here.

I can personally say that October Baby—enthusiastically endorsed by Life Issues Institute—effectively promotes a life-affirming message of love and hope. It’s a story of forgiveness, told in a way that demonstrates redemption can come out of past loss and grief resulting from abortion. Often, movies with a good message are well intended but not as professionally produced as they should be. October Baby doesn’t disappoint. It meets the challenge.

My hope is that October Baby will be a significant catalyst in educating and engaging others with the fundamental truth that each and every life is valued and cherished, no matter what the circumstances surrounding the birth.

I believe this film will be pivotal in winning more hearts and minds to the mindset that innocent human life is sacred. Every life matters. I encourage you take your family and friends with you to see it this weekend.

With the tide changing across the country in favor of life, the film’s timeliness couldn’t have been more perfect. Find out if your local movie theater is playing October Baby by clicking on the link above.

For the babies and their families,
